eisoj5I never realized just how dependent on email I really was until it Went Away and Would Not Come Back.
I should mention that I really do need to check it tonight, not just as a frivolous exercise in procrastination. I have a partnered project due tomorrow and we were going to coordinate our written parts over email and she 'sent' her part last night before leaving for places Without Internet...without attaching anything. And now I can't get at my email to see if she actually resent it and if I need to seriously rework the stuff that I did or whatever and I can't call her because she gave me her cell number through...email. (The directory entry does not have the right phone number, I checked.)
Of course, I am missing out on fabulous vitamin liberty hippopotamus clitoris ambulance hyperspace lemonade antidisestablishmentarian toothbrush letter bottle penis lotion human slug spam, so that, at least, is a good thing.
(Did I ever tell you I actually have to have a filter that deletes email with the subject line of "SEXUALLY EXPLICIT" in them? It's usually gay porn. I may have brought this upon myself but if so, it was purely through reading innocent CLex fic which I'm sure would never be connected in any way with gay porn. Right?)
Okay, I think I should go to bed now.

Date: 2004-11-07 10:19 pm (UTC)I haven't checked in almost 2 days and i was getting very antsy. I would agree that i am also semi-dependent on checking my email. Anyway, i'm just upset with ITCS because this NEVER happened until they set up the new system this summer. Grarr.
