...and it smelled like burning. Better than tasting like burning, I'm sure, but a little worrisome for a second. The smell's gone now, though, leaving me again to relish the scent of...er...well, me, because I haven't showered yet. And I'm sure all of you wanted to know that. :)

On Monday after I worked in the office, I went home and...took a nap. Random bout of sleepiness, I guess. It helped, though; I probably would've been far less inclined to go to dinner later if I'd been tired and cranky. Ronnie and I met up with [livejournal.com profile] queenie02 and two other members of the Chinese School alumni (Debby and Wayne, who are nearly the only other ones still in Ann Arbor at this point) for dinner at Cottage Inn. We were there for a loooong time, but hell, catching up takes a while. Wayne's right, too; we hardly ever get together unless Annie's around to make us do it.

Anyway.

Tuesday...we...err...watched TV? Yeah, that sounds about right.

Yesterday, after Spethland, [livejournal.com profile] rinnaldo, [livejournal.com profile] wheloc and I went to Borders downtown to see Terry Pratchett. He talked about...stuff...and then signed for a good long while. He was funny, of course, and British, and shorter than I'd expected--but then, on book flaps you rarely see the author standing. So that was pretty cool. Tonight Neal Stephenson's reading and signing, but we can't go because we have returning docent training to attend...oh well. C'est la vie.

Tomorrow is [livejournal.com profile] rinnaldo's birthday!!!
