#9: I always loved talking to you on AIM. I feel a little strange talking to you now, because a lot has changed in your life--and that which didn't change might have been unknown before. But you were and are a vibrant and talented woman, and I miss *climbing* into your window and stealing your kitties.
#10: Just when I thought I was getting to know you a little better we stopped catching each other on AIM! However, I find your LJ entries entertaining and love to hear what's going on with your life...even if there are certain subjects that can wear a little thin after a while (not that I don't understand and empathize!)
#11: I've got to say, out of all my friends list you're probably the most obsessive. And I mean that in the nicest way, really, because it's not a BAD obsession, just the subject of some bemused fascination on my part. And I'm always happy for you when you get to go to a concert. :) We really didn't know each other well on various forums and I don't see you on AIM hardly ever, but you seem like a sweet girl nonetheless.
#12: It seems like I'm always learning something new about you. First the art thing, then the phone thing...and there's SO much you know and love about bands and astronomy (okay, I totally gave this one away) that blows me away. You have such a passion for life and everything in it and never seem to have an unkind word for anybody.
#13: Where do I start? You always remember to ask how my day was. You make me laugh over the simplest, silliest things--and the most complicated, and the most awful. With you, I'm never far from happiness, from the unexpected. You share my love of knowing, of puppies and small furred creatures and the scaly, slightly larger ones, too. You're the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning, and the last I see at night, the warm, safe haven I wasn't sure I'd ever find. You fit into my life like you were born to be there, even if we don't necessarily believe in that sort of thing ;)
#14: Ack, another uber-talented one. You're either a very good liar or you're really totally unaware of how pretty and how incredibly talented you are. Seriously. I haven't seen a single piece of artwork of yours that I don't go into spasmodic rapture about. Plus, you always remember the bizarre and crazy things about me, and that is vastly amusing in conversations--which I'm glad we still have on AIM because you're on just as strange a schedule as I, methinks.
#15: You were quite possibly one of the first friends I ever really chose, if that makes any sense. I mean, it wasn't just convenience that made us friends, but a lot of similarities and intelligence and mutual understanding. And it helped that you were just as crazy as me about the little things like genetically engineered aliens and seagulls and boys ...you're doing a wonderful thing now, even if it takes you far far away--it just means we get to spend some holidays in a WARM place for once :)
#16: You're always very nice and readily available on AIM for conversing purposes. I think I got to actually TALK talk to you once or twice, too. Your sense of humor combined with your older-than-me sensibility is very reassuring. I don't consider myself to be very close to you, but you're definitely someone I could see myself meeting and getting along with IRL (even if we don't always share the same feelings about issues and the like...just makes for more interesting conversation ;) )
Still more to come! I'll probably combine them all together at some point. Anyhow, guess away ;)
