eisoj5YAY!!! MY BIG DAMN SHOW IS BACK!!!!!
Holy crap, the women have AGENCY!! Maya wants things and isn't whiny! Angela is doing all kinds of controlly things! Niki (or, uh, whoever) is smart and powerful in her own right and has a brand new power! Claire is...um...wanting to learn how to do shit! YAY!!!
Also, the POCs are totally doing it! And then falling apart (uh, literally) afterwards!!
AND NATHAN DIDN'T DIE...uh, of course. :) I'm a little eeped out by the whole religious conversion angle and the CRAZY, but still. It'll be interesting to see how he takes to power again...will the specter of Linderman be mucking around with his newfound belief in the ability of people to do real good? Will he and Tracy/Niki hook up again?
I want to see the four-years future.
Future!Peter is interesting. I wonder how much they gave Ventimiglia to work with on that one, because that's a lot of history...futurestory...something...shaping his anger and frustration, uh, "now". I really loved that he told Nathan he came back to kill him...and that he still obviously loves Nathan.
And...Petrelli-mere does not necessarily so much love her sons when they do really stupid shit like try to come back to the future and fuck around with, like, killing each other. Okay, so is Sylar really a Petrelli? There's quite a physical resemblance, and it plays well with my theory that the Company has a lot to do with a breeding program...but...remember my whole rant about Nathan=Claire's daddy being a whole soap opera thingy? Yeah, that one.
Speaking of Sylar, the whole mucking-around-in-Claire's-brain thing? YEEEESH that was icky. One wonders if he did anything to it besides just poke at it and move stuff around. And poor Claire...she's never had it good when it came to her power.
Lessee...ah yes. Mohinder? BAD MOHINDER!! I think the Ebil!Mohinder will be quite entertaining, but if he just came down off his serum high or whatnot, will he be back to normal? And is Ando going to get his hands on the serum too?
...WHERE THE HELL IS KIMIKO, DAMMIT? She was supposed to be running Yamagato...now Hiro's got the controlling interest? Uh...that's not right...?
I'm kinda waiting onexxorcyst to show up and tell me what that molecule was.
Also, am glad that there was sharing of information from Hiro...although it took a long time and I was concerned they were going to drag that stuff out for a while.
Matt being punted to the desert was weird and so far, kind of pointless.rinnaldo thought maybe Matt was starting to understand the more basic thoughts of the tortoise...oh well. Another POC!

So...yay! It's moving well, and some of the issues from last year about gender are on their way to being a LOT better (although we'll see how the racial issues play out...snarky African guy is cool, though.)
ETA: Oh, poor M3 shippers. I really loved the casual cohabitation and the way they played off each other...for as brief a time we got them...oh well. Also, when Nathan was speechifying in the church, I looked atrinnaldo and said, "So he's going to do all the voiceovers now?"
