eisoj5Yesterday I was cleaning the lodge library with the assistance of one of the new educators, Dee, as well as Becky. I was going through the basket of Jenga blocks, because Becky said they sometimes have to sand off bad words that the kids write on them, when suddenly I came across a block that one of my Canton kids from two years ago had written her name on. I made some derogatory noises about "punk kids" and put it in the pile with the others.
A few blocks later, I came across another block that had a familiar name on it: D. Gimpel, in the very distinctive handwriting of said teacher! I commented that I'd have to email her and poke her about defacing Crow Canyon property.
...A few more blocks later, I found yet another block that had a very familiar name on it, in a very distinctive handwriting:
Josie Chang.
Oops. :)
(It also had "Class of '99" and a couple of doodles on it, too.)
