Quite a busy weekend...

Yesterday: Bought Darwin a brush. He doesn't seem to mind it if he's also doing something else while being brushed...he runs away if I try to brush his left side for some reason. We also went to Circuit City and I bought the 10 Things I Hate soundtrack while Ronnie bought Hudson Hawk on DVD. Oddly, I didn't find anything I wanted at Old Navy nor at Borders...nothing that I Had To Have right then, anyway. Consumers, whee! We saw Finding Nemo for matinee price (which was shockingly low and unexpected because I'd gotten used to paying ungodly amounts later in the evening and had forgotten that matinees existed...) and it was Extremely Cute and Good. I sort of want to see it again, if only to find out what the ray says. Later yesterday evening we attempted to locate our local Funcoland to no avail...but had a good dinner at Applebeee's post-search.

Sunday: Um. What did we do? Played with Darwin, probably...and...er...stuff happened?

Saturday: Work. I gave three planetarium shows and a birthday party for waay more people than are ever supposed to attend one of those things. And they didn't tip me, either. But I stole some of their ice cream, so all is balanced on the karmic scale. No, really. Saturday evening we went to Sarahs' and watched Follow That Bird and the Usual Suspects...Sarahs braided my hair a la little Stephanie from camp.

Friday: Docent party with a very frisky Darwin and lots of rain. Still, fun was had, eventually.

Thursday: We kidnapped Emily and went to the Botanical Gardens and looked at stuff. I found turtles and Emily found a frog and a bunny. Frog: dumb. Bunny: less dumb. Flowers pretty.

And now I am here!
