Hmm. Well, I haven't made a collage yet, but I do have a few megabytes worth of caps sitting on my hard drive. So...headed for "Heroes" fannishness? Maybe.

I also made a couple of animated Peter-trying-to-fly icons, but they're not that great, so I'll probably fix them up before I post them.

I have a theory about Peter and why he can only sometimes fly. I think perhaps his power isn't that he can fly. Rather, he is able to absorb some of the powers of other heroes who are nearby-- kind of like a cheap Rogue knockoff. That would explain why he's only able to fly when he is near his brother, why he's able to move around during time freeze with Hiro, and why he had the same eyes as the painter guy in the preview.

Yep--I think he even said something to that effect when he met Mohinder. I think it's actually also rather close to Rogue's power, because he definitely touched Isaac when he went to help with Isaac's OD-ing. And he touched Nathan when the latter flew up to grab him, of course.

Future!Hiro does present a little bit of a problem there, but maybe Hiro becomes more and more able to control time stoppage for others, too?

I think right now he thinks he can only fly if he is near a special person. He may not realize that he is able to do more (if that is indeed the case). We can neatly solve the Hiro problem if we say that it is proximity rather than touch, but I look forward to a better explanation.

If I remember from the commercials correctly, their powers should all be growing in strength anyway (no idea what the reason is, but whatever), so proximitiy would make sense if Peter's getting better at what he does (even if he doesn't know it).
