Huh.
The BBC's running a "Sex ID Test" to determine if your brain is more like a male or female brain.

I might redo the finger-measuring part, though, because I was eyeballing that off a yardstick that only had centimeters. For the "attractiveness" part, with the faces, it said I preferred more masculine faces, and that women tend to prefer such faces while ovulating (which I already knew). Well...if I wasn't on the pill, I would be ovulating this week, so...I dunno. :)
Also, I did surprisingly well on the spatial rotation part. I usually suck at those.

It's a fun test, but I have to wonder about the accuracy of the graph, as well.
For example, I scored 12/12 (higher than the average male score: 8.2) on the 3D shapes task, and 16 words on the vocabulary task (higher than the average female score at 12.4 words). But I think my doing poorly on the angles test (9/20 - which I attribute mostly to it being timed - the lower average was the female score at 13.3) totally skewed my results toward more female.
So, my scoring high on all but one of the male tasks doesn't seem to have countered my scoring high on some of the female tasks plus low on one male task. This skewed my score toward female (25%).
I retook the angle part again just now, not worrying about the time and got 14/20, but I'd guess part of the improvement would have to do with taking it twice...
Anyway, the best part of my result was this accurate statement:
If you scored 10 - 12: Are you an engineer or do you have a science background? People with these skills tend to score in this range. Past studies have concluded that people in this range have a more male brain.
