The problem, in my mind, is not that people discriminate based on race but that they have a notion of "race" at all. I can't even figure out what people mean by the word, but I'm pretty sure the whole idea is based on false premises (and is silly to boot). Regardless, my theory is that once people abandon the notion of race they will be unable to build their prejudices on it. But don't worry, I'm sure people will find something else to discriminate on.
To this end I actually think people should think less about race, not more. Hence I am doing something about the problem by ignoring it.
